Insanely Flavorful Ales

Brew Floors

Our Brew Floors arrived on January 2nd. We decided to use the Brew Floors IV system which is a urethane epoxy mortar with a chemical resistant top coat. It’s almost twice the strength of concrete and is applied to 1/8 of an inch thick. These floors should hold up very well.

We installed the Brew Floors urethane epoxy mortar in the area where our walk in cooler will be installed.

Looking forward to the opening! Are you guys running your 1/2 barrel pilot currently? Is it at the middlesex location?

Unfortunately, we haven’t brewed on the pilot system in the last few months. We’ve been very busy constructing the brewery. Once the brewery is ready, the pilot system will move in.

I am very excited to see a brewery start up in the central jersey area. Thank you for sharing your blog about the different steps involved in opening. I am a homebrewer for the past few years and am very curious about what it takes to open a brewery. I was wondering if it would be possible to come in and take a look at your space?

The space is a bit of a wreck right now because we’re in the middle of construction. When we open, we will be offering tours of the brewery and I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have.
